And are looking for another reason to dislike it.
Or is it just the fact that everybody seems to dislike the Jedi Academy trilogy. So yeah I can understand the armor making it overpowered. That's something I would expect out of either a r/HFY story to make humans overpowered or out of the culture series but not Star Wars. Is it the armor? Because that I can at least understand. I mean we created the a-bomb then made it bigger and better and then created the H bomb. Is it the fact it was created after the Death Star? Because that part really seems the most realistic just because you have a superweapon doesn't mean you stop looking for new ways to kill people. The universe is Stargate by the way where they have less tech then a galaxy wide Empire.
My second favorite sci-fi universe uses stars blowing up as a one-line joke. Is it the Sun blowing up part? Because in a sci-fi universe that isn't that strange really. The Department of Geographical Aberrations has four, which agents use to annihilate SueSystems from. It is armed with eleven resonance torpedoes, and three laser turrets, while the Layered Molecular Armour renders the ship nearly indestructible. I don't really get why the ship is so disliked. The difference is the Sun Crusher, the threat at the heart of the Jedi Academy prose trilogy, was the size of a regular star fighter but still contained the capability to destroy star systems. A Sun Crusher is a starfighter-sized superweapon from the Star Wars continuum that makes stars go supernova.
